IPU CET Law Admission Process 2017

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers admissions into undergraduate law programmes through IPU CET Law 2017. IPU CET Law 2017 admission process begins with the notification of the exam, followed by application process, issue of admit card, conduct of exam and result declaration. Once the result of IPU CET Law 2017 is declared, candidates are invited for attending counselling based on the merit secured by them. The counselling is held online where candidates need to register for the process and choose their preferred college. The university admission council then allots seats to the candidates based on their marks and preferred choice. Once the seat is allotted candidate is needed to submit the fees for confirming the seat. The entire admission process of IPU CET Law 2017 ends in the month of August with the commencement of classes.

IPU CET Law Eligibility Criteria 2017

Candidates need to read eligibility criteria of IPU CET Law 2017 before filling the LLB application form of Indraprastha University. IPU CET Law 2017 eligibility criteria mentions minimum conditions required to apply for the university level law entrance examination. The IPU CET eligibility criteria specify that a candidate needs to have passed 10+2 board examination from a recognised institution with English as compulsory subject. The minimum marks required is 50% in the aggregate of the subjects studied in the 12th board examination. Moreover, the university is also bound to implement the age criteria from this year after BCI’s order on age bar for admissions to undergraduate law programmes.

IPU CET Law Exam Pattern 2017

GGSIPU will be conducting IPU CET Law 2017 on April 16 at various exam centres. The IPU LLB entrance examination will be held in paper pen mode where candidates will have to answer as many as 150 questions carrying four marks each. The time allotted to finish the test will be 150 minutes as the university level LLB entrance exam will begin at 2:00 pm. GGSIPU follows a negative marking policy under which every wrong answer will lead to deduction of one mark from the total scored marks. Candidates will be required to answer a question with only one option among those given. Questions responded with more than one answer option will be liable for negative marking.
