SSC CGL 2017 Official Notification will be released in March 2017. Combined Graduate Level examination is conducted by SSC every year.  CGL 2017 Application process will be started from 11th March 2017 till 15th April 2017. Examination will be conducted in three phases- Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3 and Interviews & Skill Test.  SSC CGL 2017 Tier-1 Examination will be conducted from 19th June to 2nd July 2017 at various examination centers in India.

Assistant Audit Officer:
Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute
Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
Statistical Investigator Grade – II
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% in Mathematics at 12th standard level

Exam Scheme of SSC CGLE (Tier I)
The Commission has decided to reduce the number of questions from 200 to 100 in CGLE Tier-I which would continue to carry 200 marks. The duration of Tier-I examination would be for a period of 75 minutes.

SSC CGL Tier I Exam Pattern
Examination will be MCQ type and will be conducted through online mode.
Question paper will be divided into 4 sections- General intelligence & reasoning, General Awareness/GK, Quantitative aptitude & English comprehension.
There will be total 100 questions for 200 marks & the duration of the examination will be 75 minutes.
There will be a penalty of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.

SSC CGL Tier II Exam Pattern
Examination will be MCQ type and will be conducted through online mode.
Question paper will be divided into 4 sections- Quantitative ability (Paper I), English language & Comprehension (Paper II), Statistics (Paper III) & General studies (Paper IV Finance & Economics).
Paper I & II are compulsory for all the posts & paper II is only for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr. II & Compiler & Paper IV will only be for the post of Assistant Audit Officer.
There will be total 200 marks & the duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer in paper II.

SSC CGL Tier III Exam Pattern
The examination will be of descriptive type & will be conducted only through offline mode.
The applicants have to write essay/précis/letter/application etc.
The examination will be of total 100 marks & the duration will be of 60 minutes. The duration of the examination will be 80 minutes for VH & Cerebral Palsy applicants.

Aptitude means it includes the questions which will judge the candidate the ability appropriate use of numbers such as-
Computation of whole numbers, Decimals, Fractions and Relationships between Numbers, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square base, Trigonometric ratio, Degree and Radian Measures, Standard Identities, Complementary angles, Heights and Distances, Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar diagram & Pie chart, Mixture and Alligation, Time and distance, Time & Work, Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra & Elementary surds, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangle and its various kinds of centres, Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business etc
